I hope you like my cool website inspired by Lightwave 3.5. I kinda wanted it to feel like you’ve just booted it up on your PC like the 3D artist pioneers of old, totally enamoured by the plethora of fun buttons and things to explore.

I live in Meeanjin Country, Australia where I too am a 3D artist. I got my start in architectural visualisation, worked doing that for nearly 5 years before quitting my job earlier this year to try my hand at game art. After getting quite comfortable working in architecture I wanted to shake things up and make things that people really enjoy and value. You can see some of my work in my portfolio if you wanna have a squiz at what I do.

I do plan on adding Itchio embeds and Steam links once I’ve cooked a little longer and have something interactive to show for. I’ve bumped into some really cool and talented people recently and am pretty excited to show off what we collab on. If you do any kind of art or development in any way shape or form hit me up! I wanna see.

Featured in that picture is my cat Max! (Short for 3D Studio Max). He’s about 7 years old now, I got him as a 3-ish week-old kitten. I don’t really know how old he is exactly because he’s a rescue, but he’s mine now. I picked him up off the ground first. His favourite food is chicken from the kitchen bench, and his favourite activities are sitting in laps, catching moths, and being a bastard.

Other than that I love having a good read, especially sci-fi. I can talk about it forever and may just do that on my blog at some stage. To name a few favourites, Rendezvous with Rama, Hyperion, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Left Hand of Darkness, and I, Robot are all classics that have branded my brain.

Sci-fi art is also my jam, I have art books from John Harris, Syd Mead, Chris Foss and will definitely be expanding this collection. Sci-fi is just fun, I love speculation and wondering in general and I reckon Sci-Fi is perhaps the best medium for a good speculation.

Anyway hope you have a good browse here to break up the endless scrolling of modern web, I’ll be updating this whenever I have things to say or a new project to share so you should hang around.
